CAYENDO EL LIBRO // THE BOOK
This book is a small collection of poems and vignettes trying to capture moments of love. Heartbreak, here, is included as part of love. There is something beautiful about heartbreak in that it can only happen when we allow ourselves to bare our hearts and souls to another person. Allowing them to see parts of ourselves that sometimes we don’t even know are there.
This is Luis Miguel Anaya’s first written project that he wrote to go hand in hand with the paintings from this show. He wrote every piece while looking directly at what inspired it. Taking raw moments from his own life to open a window of connection with others. It was a heart twisting process, but Luis didn’t want to hide from what he was feeling. He knew that through this others could relate with their own experiences.
